The camp is open to ALL beginning players interested in trying out for volleyball at Flowery Branch High School.

You may also register on the first day of camp. If you plan on registering the first day of camp, please arrive early.

Several years ago, volleyball was virtually unknown in Hall County. As its popularity has grown, so have the skills of the players. The volleyball coaches at Flowery Branch High School are devoted to building a successful, hard working, and fun program.

The sport of volleyball requires all players on a team to work together and have the necessary skills to be successful. This camp has been put together with this in mind. The camp is for girls going into the 6th grade thru the 12th grade. Campers will be taught the basic skills and techniques of volleyball. These will include drills for passing, setting, serving and hitting. In addition, the campers will learn the strategies of the team offenses and defenses and will participate in competitive drills and games to reinforce these principles.

Flowery Branch High School boasts one of the nicest facilities in the county. We have two volleyball courts on the main floor and one more on the upper gym floor.

We cover all necessary skills which you will need to perform well during tryouts.

The cost of the camp will be posted prior to the registration date. We have a camp canteen which will be selling various food and drink items during lunch breaks. You should wear athletic clothing, including good tennis/basketball shoes, (please, no running shoes - these are not designed for the kind of movement in volleyball) a water bottle, towel, and knee-pads, which can be purchased fairly inexpensively.
